Seating Them at Park Benches

occupied nodal benches seat them –
resting their elbows on plaid
wrapped femurs.
ties swing in pendulum,
as do faces seating unspectacled eyes
spotting insects trawled in wind.
unspectacled eyes/
soft edges/
airbrush crawling brown toddlers
in the mud.
nubivagant motions raise
leisurely arms,
creak/
cement/
benches,
like planked floors.
bouquets of hands obscure in suited flâneur pockets. bouquets of hands that i cannot count. bouquets of pockets hiding hands like the last supper.
