In the shadows of neon lights hides a boy. He leans against the convergence of two rock-walls, his consciousness as fragile as the thinly spread cement scraping on his shirt. He isn’t drained of energy. At least, not that much after the tumultuous regurgitation of green unnamed liquid that barely made it to his stomach.

I feel stressed out

I wanna let it go

Let’s go way out spaced out

And losing all control

His musically inclined head oscillates at the quivers of bass floating leg-up, but he is afraid his brain will smoothen out against the sandpaper of his skull and slide out of his nose. Yet, there is still party left in him. What is this song?

Fill up my cup

Mazel Tov

Look at her dancing

Just take it off

He looks around in confusion.

“What is this song I think I know this”

Let’s paint the town

We’ll shut it down

Let’s burn the roof

And then we’ll do it again

“Duuuuude I love this song I swear I know the lyrics also”

What follows is a rush to the dance floor. His friends are hazed but they’ve got party left in them too. There’s fist pumping and a bouquet of finger guns pointing to the roof.

Let’s do it, let’s do it,

Let’s do it,

Let’s do it, and do it, and do it,

Let’s live it up

And do it, and do it, and do it, do it, do it,

Let’s do it,

Let’s do it,

Let’s do it

And there’s the chorus, you’d think the party produced the song.

‘Cause…

I gotta feeling (ooooo hoooo) that tonight’s gonna be a good night

That tonight’s gonna be a good night

That tonight’s gonna be a good, good night

“So great bro, so great, I love Pitbull, one of my favourite childhood artists”

(lyrics credits to azlyrics; dedicated to my dear friend who has just started making a living. i hope u continue to do so. and to my other friend who is a world famous lyricist. or soon to be.)
